Job Description
- Credit Management & Policy Development ● Design and enforce robust credit control policies and procedures tailored to business needs. ● Assess the creditworthiness of clients through financial analysis, credit reports, and payment histories. ● Establish and review credit limits and payment terms for clients, ensuring alignment with company goals. 2. Collections & Risk Mitigation ● Drive timely collection of receivables to sustain positive cash flow. ● Regularly monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate recovery actions. ● Proactively mitigate bad debt risks through comprehensive credit assessment and effective recovery strategies. ● Oversee the entire collection process till the time of recovery. ● Coordinate with the legal team for timely recovery and legal notices. 3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Leadership ● Partner with sales, finance, and operations teams to align credit practices with overall business objectives. ● Lead, mentor, and manage the credit control team to enhance efficiency and achieve performance goals. ● Build and maintain strong client relationships to negotiate payment terms and resolve disputes effectively. 4. Reporting & Compliance ● Ensure compliance with local financial and legal regulations, including GST and other statutory requirements. ● Provide periodic reports and insights on accounts receivable, credit risks, and collection metrics to senior management. ● Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting credit control practices.
