Principal Engineer

Job Summary

The Principal Engineer is responsible for ensuring technical excellence within the organization. This role involves producing high-quality code efficiently and participating in all stages of the product development cycle. The Principal Engineer will lead complex feasibility studies, project planning, and identify dependencies and improvements to enhance product performance.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality code with a focus on efficiency and maintainability.
• Participate in all steps of the product development cycle, including creating technical requirements and leading feasibility studies.
• Investigate, analyze, and provide recommendations on the root causes of complex software and system defects.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of engagement.
• Foster the development of applications that are easy to monitor and operate, improving infrastructure availability.
• Apply best practices for code quality and security, including non-functional requirements mastery, code reviews, coding guidelines, unit testing, and code refactoring.
• Demonstrate cross-disciplinary technological acumen, including knowledge of user interface (UI) and network systems.

• Proficiency in coding languages and frameworks relevant to the organization.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with code quality practices and security measures.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering or a related field.

Salary
