NLP Expert / Senior Engineer (NLP)<br /> Job Summary<br /> A full time role reporting to the CTO with a preferred base in Chennai with flexible working hours.<br /> We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NLP Expert to build our AI/ML team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art natural language processing models and systems towards building a product for JustAct.<br /> Key Responsibilities<br /> ● Design and implement NLP solutions for text classification, sentiment analysis, information extraction, entity recognition, summarization, cross-referenced searches etc.<br /> ● Build and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) using frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers or OpenAI.<br /> ● Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate NLP models into production systems.<br /> ● Conduct experiments and evaluate model performance using metrics like precision, recall, F1-score, BLEU, etc.<br /> ● Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in NLP, deep learning, and AI.<br /> ● Optimize model performance for speed, accuracy, and scalability.<br /> Required Qualifications<br /> ● Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.<br /> ● Strong programming skills in Python; experience with NLP libraries and frameworks.<br /> ● Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and finetuning models (e.g., BERT, GPT, T5).<br /> ● Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).<br /> ● Experience with deploying models via REST APIs, Flask, FastAPI, or cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).<br /> ● Experience with MLOps tools for model training, tracking, and deployment (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases).<br /> What We Offer<br /> ● Competitive salary and equity options<br /> ● Opportunity to work on building a product in the legal tech space using cutting-edge AI models for the global market.<br /> ● Collaborative and research-friendly environment.
