Job Summary
The Principal Solutions Architect serves as a critical bridge between pharmaceutical knowledge and technological, data, and analytical solutions within the Drug Innovation Platform. This role provides expert guidance in translating complex scientific, clinical, and regulatory knowledge into actionable insights, technology requirements, and data strategies. The Architect ensures that the platform’s initiatives, programs, and solutions align with the evolving needs of the drug discovery and development lifecycle, enhancing the organization’s ability to bring innovative therapies to market. They will collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, data experts, and business stakeholders to ensure effective and strategically relevant technology implementations.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex scientific, clinical, and regulatory knowledge into actionable insights and technology requirements.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, data experts, and business stakeholders to ensure effective technology implementations.
- Develop data strategies that align with the drug discovery and development lifecycle.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory submissions and compliance with industry standards.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to build consensus.
- Deliver training, workshops, and presentations to enhance knowledge and skills across teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc) or related field.
- Experience: 8+ years in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry, focusing on drug development, clinical research, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical research and drug development.
- Experience with technology solutions in life sciences, such as data platforms, AI/ML applications, or clinical systems.
- Proven ability to translate life sciences requirements into technical requirements for data integration, analytics, and software development.
- In-depth understanding of the drug development lifecycle, including discovery, clinical trials, and regulatory submissions.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and quality practices (e.g., GxP, CDISC, ICH).
