Job Title: Security Officer

Reports To: Admin Head

Job Purpose: To ensure the overall safety and security of personnel, plant premises, and assets.

The role is ideal for retired personnel from the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, or Air Force), leveraging their discipline, vigilance, and leadership for safeguarding the chemical plant.

Key Responsibilities:

● Perimeter and Access Control: o Supervise entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials. o Monitor and maintain gate registers, visitor logs, and movement slips. o Prevent unauthorized access to sensitive or restricted areas.

● Surveillance and Monitoring: o Operate and monitor CCTV systems and other surveillance tools. o Conduct regular patrolling of the plant premises (internal and external). o Identify and report any suspicious activity or security breaches.

● Crisis and Emergency Management: o Act as first responder for fire, gas leak, chemical spills, or other emergencies. o Coordinate evacuation plans and conduct emergency drills. o Liaise with local police, fire, and medical services as needed.

● Compliance and Documentation: o Ensure security procedures comply with company policies, government, and environmental regulations. o Maintain incident reports, daily activity logs, and gate pass records.

● Team Management: o Supervise and train contract security personnel or guards. o Ensure discipline, punctuality, and proper conduct among the team.

● Coordination: o Work closely with plant operations, HR, safety, and administrative departments. o Support audits and inspections from external agencies and authorities.

Eligibility Criteria:

● Retired Personnel from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, or equivalent defense services.

● Age: Preferably below 45 years.

● Familiarity with fire safety, industrial security, and emergency handling is preferred. Preferred Skills:

● Strong leadership and communication skills.

● Physically fit with high alertness.

● Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly.

● Basic knowledge of industrial hazards and chemical plant operations is an advantage.

Remuneration: Up to 10 Lacs.
