Job Summary

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) focused on cold calling, you will play a crucial role in driving new business opportunities for CodeAnt AI. You will be expected to excel in booking qualified demos that lead to sales, working in a fast-paced environment to directly contribute to the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Week 1: Learn the product, Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), pricing, and how to effectively conduct cold calls.
  • Month 1:
    • Book 20+ qualified demos through cold calls and emails.
    • Track results, run experiments, and iterate quickly based on feedback.
  • Month 1+: Scale to 40+ demos per month.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects to foster engagement and conversion.
  • Help develop a repeatable and scalable outbound engine for the sales team.
  • Core Responsibilities:
    • Perform 80% cold calling: List building, prospecting, and hustling across channels.
    • 20% sales operations: Maintain CRM accuracy, refine processes, and create relevant content appealing to developers.

Qualifications

  • Cold Calling Expertise: Proven experience in a fast-paced sales environment focused on cold calling.
  • Goal-Oriented: A strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets and personal growth.
  • Scrappy & Creative: Ability to uncover hidden leads, write effective scripts, and test innovative ideas.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage potential customers.
  • High levels of self-motivation and a competitive nature.
  • Familiarity with using customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with outbound sales strategies and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with software development environments and technologies.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate insights to improve sales strategies.

Experience

  • Relevant experience in sales, specifically as a Business Development Representative or a similar role, is preferred.

Environment
