Job Summary
The AWS Data Architect will lead the end-to-end engagement delivery and serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and technical teams. This role focuses on defining modernization roadmaps, overseeing solution design, and ensuring that architectural decisions align with AWS best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end engagement delivery and act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Define modernization roadmaps, architectural decisions, and governance practices across domains.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops focusing on cost optimization, scalability, and security.
- Oversee solution design, risk management, and governance processes.
- Drive innovation and best practices in architecture across the organization.
- Ensure alignment of workflow automation, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), DevOps, and security practices with business objectives.
- Ensure that architecture aligns with AWS best practices as outlined in the Well-Architected Framework.
- Oversee the adoption of AWS Managed Kafka, Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) Fargate, and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for PostgreSQL.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in lead or senior roles.
- Proven experience in legacy application modernization.
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, including data, applications, and cloud technologies.
- Experience in stakeholder management and pre-sales activities.
- Deep familiarity with the AWS ecosystem (IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, RDS, Secrets Manager).
- Knowledge of Camunda for Business Process Management (BPM)/workflow modeling and AWS API Gateway for service architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and tools like SonarQube for code quality.
- Experience with modern observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Preferred Skills
- Additional knowledge in emerging cloud technologies will be a plus.
- Experience in enterprise security practices and compliance may be beneficial.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years in lead or senior technical roles with a focus on AWS architecture and data solutions.
Environment
This position is remote, allowing flexibility in work settings for the candidate.
Salary
Estimated salary of 12 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum).
