Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our remote team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports to help drive data-based decisions across the organization and client projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
• Translate business requirements into data models and reporting solutions.
• Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.) to gather and transform data.
• Optimize data models for performance and usability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and data engineers to ensure accurate data representation.
• Ensure reports and dashboards are mobile-friendly and adhere to data governance and security standards.
• Troubleshoot data issues and support ad-hoc report requests.
• Provide end-user training and documentation when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Power BI development and dashboard creation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data transformation processes.
• Proficiency in connecting to and integrating various data sources, including SQL Server and APIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and providing training.
• Experience with data governance and security best practices.
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., DAX, SQL) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of other Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
• Experience with advanced analytics (e.g., R, Python).
• Certification in Power BI or related BI tools.

Experience

A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in Power BI development or a similar role is preferred.

This is a remote position, allowing flexibility in location. Typical work hours will align with the core hours of the team but may vary based on project needs.
