Job Summary
The Executive in Manufacturing/Production will oversee and facilitate all activities related to the Batch Manufacturing process. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient production of creams, lotions, body washes, shampoos, conditioners, serums, and toners while adhering to hygiene standards and regulatory guidelines. The position involves optimizing manpower utilization and maintaining documentation compliant with ISO standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure hygiene is maintained in the finishing area in line with defined guidelines.
- Execute the weekly production plan prepared by the superior.
- Oversee and facilitate all activities related to the Batch Manufacturing process.
- Receive raw materials from stores and verify specifications as per the batch record.
- Optimize manpower utilization by allocating job work based on capability, explaining job specifications, and tracking individual productivity against production norms.
- Monitor work-in-progress across all stages, identify issues, and implement timely resolutions.
- Ensure worker productivity meets defined targets.
- Maintain all production-related documentation in compliance with ISO guidelines.
- Reduce rejection percentage at all stages of production through continuous monitoring and corrective actions.
- Gain end-to-end knowledge of all production processes and contribute across stages as required.
- Execute production activities in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
- Deliver training on production processes, conduct periodic training sessions, and verify training effectiveness.
- Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Graduation in Science or Pharmacy.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in production and manufacturing, preferably within the cosmetic industry.
- Technical Skills: Relevant technical knowledge of mixing tank operations, HMI operations, and batch preparation.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Familiarity with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
- Capacity for conducting training and coaching employees.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in production and manufacturing, specifically in the cosmetic sector.
