Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Magento Developer with deep experience in Magento theming, frontend customization, and API integration with microservices. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about leveraging AI-powered tools and automation solutions, such as Figma-to-Magento front-end generation, to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refactor the Magento 2 Luma theme, including .phtml files and XML layout.
• Work with legacy JavaScript stack: KnockoutJS, RequireJS, and Magento UI Components.
• Optimize front-end performance, focusing on Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) improvements, and responsive design.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to translate luxury brand design guidelines into clean frontend implementations.
• Troubleshoot JavaScript issues and resolve layout conflicts, particularly with third-party modules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Magento 2 Front-End Development (Luma-based).
• Strong hands-on experience with .phtml, XML layouts, KnockoutJS, and RequireJS.
• Proficient in LESS/SASS, Bootstrap, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to work effectively with legacy logic and existing codebases.
• Familiarity with Gulp/Webpack-based static deployment workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience optimizing legacy KnockoutJS-based checkout processes.
• Exposure to Hyvä themes and headless front-end development.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in frontend development, specifically with Magento.
