About the Role:

The company is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join its leadership team. The ideal candidate will currently hold the CIO position in a reputed and sizable company in India, recognized for their exceptional IT systems and solutions. The CIO will be responsible for driving IT innovation, overseeing technology strategy and ensuring the implementation of cutting-edge IT solutions to support the manufacturing, distribution and other core operations of the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the group’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
• Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of SAP applications and related IT solutions to enhance manufacturing, distribution and other processes.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of IT advancements including integration of AI.
• Manage IT infrastructure, systems, and security to ensure operational efficiency and data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology-driven solutions that improve productivity and business outcomes.
• Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IT standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Provide strategic guidance to the executive team on technology investments and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record as a CIO in a reputable and sizable company in India, with a strong reputation for IT systems and solutions.
• 15 to 20 years’ experience across top companies in India / globally.
• Extensive experience in implementing and managing SAP applications for manufacturing and distribution.
• Deep understanding of IT solutions and innovations relevant to modern business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale IT transformations and manage complex projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance.
• Master’s or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field ideally from an IIT / BITS or any other leading global engineering college.
