As part of the Private Markets team at Avendus Wealth Management, the individual would be responsible for investment opportunities in the unlisted space, which includes 3rd Party Funds/ AIFs across categories (PE, VC) and direct unlisted equity investments. This entails end-to-end involvement in the lifecycle of the investment opportunity, including the following. • Identification & evaluation of opportunities and assessment of its suitability for clients o Understanding of the opportunities and doing preliminary shortlisting o Detailed analysis of shortlisted opportunities (Past track record/ financials, Team capabilities, Competitive benchmarking, Valuation & other investment terms, Investment rationale, Potential risks) o Preparation of investment note/ any other documents to be presented to internal Investment Committee (IC) • Supporting the Fund team and internal Client Relations team in discussing & marketing the opportunities to relevant clients (UHNIs and Family Offices) o Preparation of marketing materials o Educating internal Client Relations team (RMs) on the investment opportunity and resolving their queries o Assisting with meetings/ calls with potential investors to discuss the opportunity o Maintaining internal trackers for the outreach done with potential investors
