Role Overview: The Category Manager will be responsible for managing multiple Indian brands across international marketplaces, particularly in the US. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of e-commerce, end-to-end P&L management, and a knack for online marketing, supply chain operations, and product research. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, numerically strong, and possess excellent analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: ● P&L Management: Oversee the profit and loss of multiple Indian brands across international marketplaces. Ensure financial targets are met and drive initiatives to optimize profitability. ● E-commerce Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to enhance brand visibility, increase sales, and improve customer engagement. ● Online Marketing: Design and execute effective online marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing to drive traffic and sales. ● Supply Chain Operations: Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure a seamless supply chain process, from product sourcing to delivery. ● Product Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. Recommend new product opportunities and enhancements to existing product lines. ● Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to make informed decisions. Generate reports and insights to track performance and identify areas for improvement. ● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, finance, logistics, and customer service, to ensure alignment and achieve business goals. Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred. ● Proven experience in category management, preferably in the e-commerce sector. ● Strong understanding of end-to-end P&L management. ● Expertise in online marketing strategies and tools. ● Excellent knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics. ● Strong product research capabilities and market analysis skills. ● Exceptional numerical and analytical skills. ● Proficient in using e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and MS Office. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
