Job Summary
As a Team Lead for Customer Master Data, you will oversee a team of specialists focused on managing customer master data governance. You will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of customer data across various systems, contributing significantly to the organization’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead and support a team of customer master data specialists by assigning tasks, setting performance goals, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Data Maintenance and Governance: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of customer data records while developing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures.
- Data Quality Assurance: Establish quality control processes to conduct data audits, validations, and cleansing activities, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
- Data Integration and Synchronization: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and synchronization across systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in customer master data management workflows, enhancing data quality and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, customer service) to understand data requirements and provide effective customer data support.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and provide insights on customer data metrics, identifying opportunities for business growth and process optimization.
- Training and Development: Create training materials and conduct sessions for the team and stakeholders to ensure a standardized understanding of data management best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in managing Customer Data Governance (MDG) or Master Data Management (MDM) processes, specifically in SAP S4/HANA.
- In-depth knowledge of data management principles, governance, and data quality.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Proficiency in using database management tools and systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools.
- Familiarity with process automation technologies.
- Prior experience in a global operational environment.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years in managing customer data governance or master data management.
