·To assist the senior investment management team in the appraisal and execution of investment opportunities in social and community enterprises

·Appraisal of the commercial and financial viability of organizations and their ability to afford to take on investment

·Evaluation of the social impact of organizations

·Maintenance of relationships with portfolio companies and monitoring their social and financial performance

 

Specific Responsibilities

•Undertake initial screening of inquiries and assessment of applications for investment firm

•Assist investment managers with commercial and financial due diligence, performing market research and financial analysis, including review of historic and prospective financial information

•Contribute to the drafting of investment papers for review by investment managers before submission to the Pre-Investment Committee and Investment Committee

•Undertake impact performance assessments of existing and prospective investees

•Support all aspects of investment portfolio management, monitoring the social and financial performance of existing investments, reviewing management information and compliance with covenants, and providing investee support

•Undertake targeted research and marketing efforts in order to support the development of a pipeline of new investment business opportunities
