Job Summary

The MS SQL Developer with Facets & EDI will be responsible for designing, coding, and optimizing SQL queries, as well as working with HealthRules Payor and EDI transactions. This role is crucial for ensuring data integrity and effective data warehousing, thereby supporting the organization's goals in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in EDI transactions, specifically 834 and 837.
• Utilize MS SQL coding skills with tools such as ActiveBatch and Mapforce to develop efficient queries and processes.
• Write and optimize ad hoc SQL queries to support business insights and reporting needs.
• Work with the HealthRules Payor system, gaining an understanding of its data model and functionalities.
• Query the HealthRules Data Warehouse (HR DW), ensuring accurate and effective data handling from the Operational Data Store (ODS) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data management processes and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of relevant experience in SQL Development, specifically with HealthRules and EDI.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server and its tools, including ActiveBatch and Mapforce.
• Demonstrated ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with HealthRules, including understanding of the data model and data warehouse functionalities.
• Knowledge of EDI transactions, specifically 834 and 837.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data integration tools and data transformation processes.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python or C#.

Experience
