Research Analyst

Job Summary

As a Research Analyst specializing in software and AI/ML, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring students and fellow researchers, designing innovative algorithms and data pipelines, and contributing to impactful research and publication efforts. This internship/contractual position is ideal for individuals passionate about education, social good, and interdisciplinary research.

Responsibilities

• Mentor students and fellow researchers on software development, machine learning/artificial intelligence models, and end-to-end solution design.
• Design and review algorithms, data pipelines, and prototypes for research and publication purposes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance project quality.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers, domain experts, and learners on various projects.
• Encourage and cultivate a problem-solving mindset that leverages technology for social good.
• Apply R&D methodologies and contribute to academic writing or open-source projects (preferred).

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in software development and machine learning/artificial intelligence concepts.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Ability to design, analyze, and review algorithms and data pipelines.
• Passion for education, social impact, and interdisciplinary research.
• Familiarity with research and development (R&D) methodologies, academic writing, or open-source contributions is a plus.
• Minimum educational qualification: Currently pursuing or completed undergraduate studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with academic writing or publication.
• Prior open-source contributions.
• Familiarity with collaborative research environments.
• Ability to work effectively in remote and flexible settings.

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 0 years (open to freshers, students, or early-career professionals).
• Relevant experience in mentorship, research, or practical software/AI/ML projects is an advantage but not mandatory.
