Job Summary

The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, focusing on API and UI automation using Cypress. The role is crucial in ensuring the quality and performance of software applications through effective test strategies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress (JavaScript).
• Perform UI and API testing to validate functionality and performance.
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Continuously improve test coverage and automation frameworks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for effective project management.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in automation testing.
