The Renewable Energy Consultant will play a pivotal role in advising on commercial due diligence for solar projects, developing market entry strategies for renewable energy and green hydrogen initiatives, and formulating comprehensive renewable energy policies. Responsibilities
- Conduct commercial due diligence for solar projects to assess viability and investment potential.
- Develop market entry strategies for clients venturing into the renewable energy and green hydrogen sectors.
- Prepare renewable energy policies and action plans for state governments to promote sustainable energy practices.
- Provide corporate strategy guidance for hydroelectricity clients, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Review and benchmark renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to optimize contract terms and conditions.
- Offer bid advisory services for renewable energy procurement, assisting clients in securing competitive contracts.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are preferred.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
- Proven experience in commercial due diligence and strategic planning within the renewable energy sector.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and policies related to renewable energy at state and national levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex scenarios and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey strategies and findings to stakeholders.
