Principal Product Manager

Job Summary

The Principal Product Manager will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing customer and intrapreneur requirements to build value-driven increments and own the product roadmap. This position is essential for driving innovation and growth within the organization, contributing to the global product strategy, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze customer and intrapreneur requirements to build value-driven increments and own the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams at Amadeus to maximize the use of existing solutions and capabilities for quick time-to-market.
• Develop hypotheses and utilize data to make informed decisions.
• Adopt a "fail fast" mentality to quickly test and iterate on product ideas.
• Make build/buy/partner decisions to optimize time to value and product solutions.
• Work with external partners such as Microsoft, AWS, Databricks, and Adobe.
• Collaborate with intrapreneurs and tech leaders to drive innovation and growth.
• Analyze solution offerings of competitors and define the strategic positioning of the product in alignment with management.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in product management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Passion for innovation, business, travel, and artificial intelligence.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experience in gathering customer requirements and building product roadmaps.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset.
• Experience in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of product management tools and software development methodologies.
