Software Development Engineer 3

Job Summary

The Software Development Engineer 3 will be responsible for gathering user requirements, developing software solutions, and ensuring the functionality and quality of software systems. This role contributes to the organization’s goals by producing efficient, high-quality code and participating in the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Gather user requirements and develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs and determine operational feasibility.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
• Participate in code reviews, acting as a gatekeeper for design and code quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial experience in software development, with a significant focus on .NET development, back-end, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to produce clean and concise code that is maintainable by team members.
• Proficient in ASP.NET and C# frameworks.
• Working knowledge of source control systems (Git), including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Experience with Web Services and SOAP.
• Basic knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML).

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software development.
