Director Talent Acquisition (APAC & India)
Job Summary
This role is a regional leadership position responsible for driving the Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy across the APAC region and India for a fast-growing global organization. The Director will report to the Regional HR Head and will blend strategic planning, stakeholder partnership, and hands-on leadership to build scalable, high-impact hiring capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the regional TA strategy aligned with business growth plans.
- Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning and critical hiring needs.
- Lead hiring for senior, leadership, and niche roles across multiple geographies.
- Build and strengthen employer branding and enhance candidate experience.
- Drive recruitment analytics, governance, and process excellence.
- Embed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles across hiring practices.
- Manage recruitment technologies, vendors, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with regional labor laws.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional TA team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- 14 to 18 years of TA experience, with 5 to 7 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience scaling TA functions in complex, multi-country environments.
- Strong understanding of APAC and India talent markets.
- Experience with executive and senior-level hiring preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different cultures and business functions.
- Proficiency in recruitment technologies and analytics tools.
Experience
- 14 to 18 years of total Talent Acquisition experience.
- 5 to 7 years in a leadership role, with a focus on scaling TA functions across multiple countries.
Environment
The role is based in Bangalore and follows a hybrid working model allowing for both in-office and remote work.
