Job Summary

The role involves leading the development and execution of new nutraceutical products, managing third-party vendors and manufacturers, and ensuring seamless transition from product concept to market launch. The candidate will play a critical role in driving product innovation, managing multiple stakeholders, and contributing to the company's growth in the health and wellness industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end process of New Product Development (NPD) in the nutraceuticals or pharma sector, from initial concept through to launch.
• Manage third-party vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure timely and quality delivery of products.
• Oversee product development activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate smooth product execution and scale-up.
• Drive continuous improvement in product development processes, leveraging industry best practices.
• Maintain a strong focus on execution, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in NPD or product development within the nutraceuticals or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience managing third-party vendors and manufacturing partners.
• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, including concept, development, scale-up, and launch.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to independently drive multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in managing vendor relationships and ensuring product quality.
• Strong understanding of nutraceutical/pharma NPD processes.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Food Technology, or related disciplines.
• Key skills: Project management, vendor management, product lifecycle management, stakeholder coordination, execution focus, entrepreneurial mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in startup environments with no in-house labs or manufacturing facilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards in nutraceuticals and pharma.

Experience

• 2 to 4+ years of relevant experience in product development, specifically within nutraceuticals or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Demonstrated success in managing product lifecycle from concept to launch.
