Job Summary
The SAP APO Consultant will be responsible for providing expert support in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) modules, with a particular emphasis on Demand Planning (DP). This role is crucial for ensuring seamless integration with SAP ECC and enhancing planning accuracy across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert support in SAP APO modules, focusing on Demand Planning (DP) while also possessing working knowledge of Supply Network Planning (SNP) and Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS).
- Lead and contribute to at least two full-cycle APO implementations, ensuring seamless integration with SAP ECC.
- Configure and manage Planning Areas, Planning Books/Versions, Key Figures, Characteristics, and macros.
- Customize data view layouts, set up and execute realignment processes, and maintain planning accuracy.
- Design, monitor, troubleshoot, and debug process chains across all APO modules.
- Analyze and interpret custom logic within the supply chain framework to meet business needs.
- Apply strong analytical skills to identify issues, determine root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, demonstrating strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration).
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in SAP APO, with a particular focus on Demand Planning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP APO modules, especially Demand Planning (DP), and knowledge of SNP and PP/DS.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Deep understanding of SAP APO architecture and integration points.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in SAP APO, specifically in Demand Planning and its integration with SAP ECC.
