Job Summary

The SAP FICO Consultant will leverage their extensive expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) to support the configuration and implementation of financial processes within organizations. This role focuses on invoice automation, workflow configuration, and integration of various SAP financial modules to optimize financial operations and ensure compliance with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) for purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices, facilitating end-to-end invoice automation.
  • Configure ArchiveLink for invoice image archiving, ensuring all related objects and relationships are correctly established.
  • Manage VIM Document Types, Scenarios, and Document Entry Templates (DET), ensuring proper control over invoice behavior and posting logic.
  • Define, maintain, and optimize VIM Process Options and Actions for various invoice statuses, including parked and blocked invoices.
  • Collaborate with users to address VIM process flow issues and troubleshoot posting failures and workflow errors.
  • Conduct data migration activities using Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (LTMC), and Batch Data Communication (BDC) methods.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Master in Commerce from GITAM University - 2020
    • Bachelor of Commerce from Osmania University - 2004
  • Key Skills:
    • SAP FI and VIM configuration
    • Invoice automation and workflow approvals
    • OCR integration and document handling
    • Cross-module SAP FI/MM integration
    • Data migration techniques (LSMW, LTMC, BDC)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication for stakeholder management
    • Cross-functional collaboration and adaptability in dynamic environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Early Archiving scenarios and document retrieval processes from SAP.
  • Familiarity with BRF+ business rules for workflow management and invoicing approvals.
  • Knowledge in performing UAT and preparing test scripts for enhancements.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3.2 years of relevant experience in SAP FI & VIM consulting with hands-on involvement in production and implementation environments.
