Job Summary

As a Credit Risk Analyst at JP Morgan Chase, you will be responsible for conducting detailed credit risk assessments, analyzing financial statements, and monitoring market trends to evaluate and mitigate potential risks. Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and market data to determine creditworthiness and risk exposure.
• Risk Modeling: Develop and maintain credit risk models to predict risk trends and support decision-making.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track credit portfolio performance and generate regular reports on risk metrics for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with cross-functional teams to recommend risk mitigation strategies and enhance credit policies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure analyses adhere to respected standards and practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Certifications: CFA degree is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in credit risk analysis or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, risk assessment methodologies, and relevant risk management software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities with an eye for detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with banking regulations and industry best practices.
