Job Summary

The AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining AWS Cloud Infrastructure that supports the company’s operations and client projects. The successful candidate will work closely with US-based clients and contribute to optimizing cloud resources while ensuring best practices and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
• Set up and configure ECS/EKS clusters for application deployment and performance-based scaling.
• Automate infrastructure setup using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Manage AWS IAM configurations including roles, policies, and user access groups.
• Troubleshoot and optimize RDS databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective deployment strategies and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years in cloud infrastructure management, particularly with AWS.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ECS/EKS).
  • Strong background in network configurations (VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Knowledge of cost management tools (Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Knowledge in creating knowledge bases and technical documentation.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years in cloud engineering or related field, specifically with AWS technologies and DevOps practices.

Environment

• Working hours: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST.
• Location: Any Mastek location.
• Collaboration with US-based clients requires effective communication skills.

Salary

• Up to 30 LPA (including 10% variable pay).
