Job Description

  • Ideal combination of startup plus large org.<br />
  • ⁠Somebody who has worked directly with a promoter or founder.<br />
  • ⁠Ideally manufacturing and sales experience. <br />
  • ⁠Sales HR Head, OD and HR, Manufacturing, Comp and Benefits, Admin. (Total span of control of 10 people)<br />
  • ⁠600-700 employees.<br />
  • ⁠The person who was managing OD, was asked to take care of the Corporate HR.<br />
  • ⁠Sreedevi was the Group CHRO. Bindiya was the last CHRO, who was only there for a year. She had the biggest challenge of working directly with the promoter. <br />
  • ⁠Establishing credibility is critical, when you are working with promoter. So high execution orientation is extremely critical. Need to become custodian for the culture. Someone who has the ability to challenge the promoter. Founder is extremely professional and he is MIT educated and happy to be corrected. You cant be super soft. 60 years old. <br />
  • ⁠Andheri is the office.<br />
  • ⁠5 days working week for corporate. Sales and Manufacturing work 6 days a week. <br />
  • ⁠Work from office.<br />
  • ⁠Education pedigree is critical. <br />
  • ⁠Reporting into Ajay directly. Who is the promoter.<br />
  • ⁠Sreedevi to be SPOC.<br />
  • ⁠First few meetings with Sreedevi and Ajay. One more meeting with Haresh Chawla who is the investor.<br />
  • ⁠Need to look at people who are ok with ambiguity. Hands on people. <br />
  • ⁠The leadership team is not aware about the current person’s exit. <br />
  • ⁠Currently 400 crore in revenue. Close to getting funding. By end of the year the investor will be locked in. The business has become profitable now. 1000 crore in the next 3 years and going IPO.
