Job Summary
The CA Professional will join the Financial Reporting team and play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with various regulations. This position involves collaboration with different stakeholders in delivering high-quality financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Ind AS impact assessment and prepare financial reports.
- Manage the monthly book closure process and scrutinize general ledger (GL) entries.
- Oversee statutory and internal audits, as well as due diligence activities.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Ind AS, the Companies Act, and CARO (Companies Auditor's Report Order).
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and prepare monthly reporting packs.
- Lead ERP implementation initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Engage in stakeholder management and promote cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required.
- 10+ years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting and audit.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in handling audit processes in either insurance, Big 4, or financial services sectors.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in the insurance industry, Big 4/audit & consulting, or fintech is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and audit processes.
Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience is required, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.
