Job Description – Accounts Payable Executive (EV Fleet / Uber–Ola Model)

Industry: EV Fleet Management / Mobility Aggregator (Uber–Ola Vendor Model) Qualification: CA Inter (Preferred) | B.Com / M.Com Experience: 2–5 Years Location: Bangalore

Role Overview:

The Accounts Payable Executive will manage high-volume banking transactions and vendor payments in an EV fleet business operating on the Uber–Ola aggregator model. The role focuses on timely settlements with drivers, OEMs, charging partners, and service vendors while ensuring strong controls, GST compliance, and cash flow discipline.

Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable (AP):

• Process invoices for EV leasing, vehicle purchases, charging costs, maintenance, insurance, telematics, and logistics

• Handle high-frequency payments to drivers, charging partners, workshops, and OEM vendors

• Ensure invoices align with contracts, SLAs, and aggregator payout statements (Uber/Ola) • Maintain vendor master data, reconciliations, and ageing analysis

Compliance & Controls:

• Ensure GST compliance including ITC eligibility, RCM where applicable, and 180-day payment rule

• Handle TDS deductions and timely deposit for vendors and service providers

• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and aggregator audits with accurate documentation

• Maintain strong internal controls for payments and approvals

Reporting & Closing: • Support monthly closing for AP, banking, and settlement-related balances

• Prepare MIS on cash flow, vendor dues, charging costs, driver payouts, and aggregator recoverables

• Assist finance leadership with inputs for budgeting, unit economics, and cost optimization

Key Skills & Competencies: • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Banking, and reconciliation-heavy environments • Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and compliance in service/transport sectors • Ability to manage large transaction volumes with accuracy • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Zoho, or similar) • Strong coordination skills with operations, vendors, and aggregators

Preferred Profile: • CA Inter qualified • Experience in EV fleet, logistics, mobility, ride-hailing, or asset-heavy businesses preferred • Exposure to Uber/Ola vendor or aggregator settlement models is a strong advantage • Comfortable working in fast-paced, operationally intensive startups
