Job Summary

The Growth Lead is a pivotal role that carries the responsibility for driving online net revenue growth while ensuring the protection of contribution margins. This position consolidates the ownership of online revenue across various platforms and coordinates daily operations to ensure cohesive and profitable growth, aligning with the company’s overall goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the online revenue number and blended margin across platforms such as Amazon, FirstCry, Flipkart, Nykaa, and D2C.
  • Lead demand generation efforts by scaling performance marketing, building brand trust, and enhancing customer reviews and social proof.
  • Drive channel scaling and mix by enhancing sell-out, improving listing quality, and ensuring price parity to grow the high-margin D2C share.
  • Serve as the central point of execution across teams, ensuring that all initiatives are executed without oversight.
  • Provide light team leadership by directing existing team members towards achieving revenue goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience with ownership of an online/D2C revenue number or marketplace P&L.
  • Background (in priority order):
    • Experience in D2C/e-commerce brands, particularly in personal care, beauty, wellness, or FMCG.
    • Growth roles in marketplace/e-commerce at consumer brands.
    • Experience with house-of-brands operations (e.g., Mensa, GlobalBees, Thrasio).
  • Must possess a strong understanding of unit economics and contribution margin.
  • Highly data-savvy with a detail-oriented approach.

Preferred Skills

  • Proven ability to own a revenue number and operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience in a trust-led category is a bonus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively coordinate across teams.
