AI Engineer

Job Summary

You will collaborate with a small team to tackle challenging problems and deliver products that have immediate user impact. This role is integral to our founding team and offers the opportunity to engage in an entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a small team (currently 3 members) on challenging problem statements.
• Rapidly pick up new technologies to ship products in a matter of weeks.
• Break down complex, abstract problems and create actionable plans for testing and execution.
• Demonstrate entrepreneurial ability by contributing to innovative side projects or applications.
• Develop and maintain AI-native projects or tools that exhibit significant traction.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions to provide solutions to current challenges faced by the team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional work experience with a solid proof of work.
• Proficient in Python (especially FastAPI) and familiar with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience in building and maintaining AI agents, particularly custom orchestrators.
• Familiarity with voice agents and technologies like LiveKit or Vapi, browser agents, and automation tools such as Puppeteer.
• Fundamental understanding of classical machine learning models, tool-augmented reasoning, and model fine-tuning techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working on technically challenging projects.
• Evidence of entrepreneurial mindset through personal projects or entrepreneurial ventures.
• Exposure to building live AI-native projects with substantial user traction.

Experience

• At least 1-3 years of relevant professional experience, with a portfolio showcasing hard technical work.
