Job Summary

The Community Intern will play a critical role in member engagement and event management within the DAUD CLUB community. This position focuses on enhancing the participant experience during community events, while also contributing to the retention efforts that are key to the growth and success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and facilitating weekend running events, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for participants.
• Engage with community members through a daily WhatsApp group, managing RSVPs and interactions.
• Maintain updated attendance sheets for events, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of participant information.
• Foster a sense of community by greeting and supporting first-time participants during events.

Qualifications

• Genuine experience in running or fitness practices; knowledge from within the community is essential.
• High levels of social energy and enthusiasm, especially during early morning events (6 AM on Sundays).
• Excellent memory for names and faces to create a familiar and welcoming environment for community members.

Preferred Skills

• Existing network within Bangalore's fitness or college scene is a plus, facilitating community engagement and outreach.

Experience

• No specific prior experience required; however, a background in running, fitness, or event organization is beneficial.

Environment

• The Community Intern will work primarily in an outdoor setting during events, with remote engagement through WhatsApp and other digital communication tools during the week.

Salary

• Stipend of ₹7,000 per month.
