Job Summary

The Senior Analyst II Finance Information System is focused on the Time Tracking process, driving the implementation of financial systems to provide relevant, timely, and accurate financial information for financial planning, decision-making, control and risk management, and internal and external performance measurement. This role is part of the Global Time Tracking Support team, prioritizing operational support for all users and stakeholders of the time tracking systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide user support for the global time tracking process and related systems.
  • Analyze and resolve data errors in the Financial and HR system landscape globally.
  • Identify root causes and propose long-term system and/or process improvements in collaboration with Finance, HR, Payroll, and Information Technology stakeholders.
  • Document system or process issues consistently and clearly.
  • Document system requirements and support financial system projects through analysis and testing.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance within financial systems.
  • Assist in system maintenance, data management, and software updates.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior analysts as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 1+ years in a similar role.
  • Proven experience and proficiency in Finance Information Systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong command of the English language (additionally Tamil and/or Hindi would be a plus).
  • Solid understanding of any ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.).
  • A continuous learner who stays abreast of industry knowledge and technology.

Preferred Skills

  • Desire and ability to learn about the business processes and the systems that support them.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, ideally with prior international work experience.
  • Ability and ideally prior experience working in a virtual team located in various countries.
  • Desire and ability to take initiative without reliance on step-by-step direction.

Experience

  • Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 1+ years in a similar role.
