Supply Chain & Operations Associate (Full-time)

Oja is a new, premium D2C bodycare and fragrance brand based in Mumbai, focusing on building a strong foundation in operations and supply chain management.

Job Summary

The Supply Chain & Operations Associate will play a crucial role in establishing the operational backbone of Oja, assisting with all aspects related to operations and supply chain to ensure efficient order fulfillment and management of vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end order fulfillment across D2C and other relevant platforms, ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with the warehouse on inbound and outbound shipments, inventory levels, and stock reconciliation.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) and courier partners, monitor delivery performance, and resolve fulfillment and delivery issues.
• Liaise with manufacturers and contract manufacturers (CMOs) regarding production schedules, order status, and inbound shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels, flag risks, and support demand planning ahead of launches and campaigns.
• Coordinate with packaging and external vendors on procurement timelines and delivery schedules, keeping purchase orders (POs), invoices, and documentation organized.
• Coordinate Public Relations (PR) packaging and gifting logistics, liaising with external vendors to ensure timely, on-brand execution of PR mailers and pack delivery to influencers and user-generated content (UGC).
• Build and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational trackers for key processes including fulfillment, returns, inventory, and vendor management.
• Support new product launches from an operations standpoint, ensuring stock, packaging, and logistics are launch-ready.
• Liaise with finance on invoicing, vendor payments, and reconciliation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of operations and supply chain experience in beauty, personal care, or FMCG; prior experience at brands or platforms such as Nykaa, Sephora, or Minimalist is strongly preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of D2C and/or marketplace fulfillment (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, Blinkit).
• Comfortable managing multiple vendor and partner relationships simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a strong communicator, able to follow up assertively and diplomatically.
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets; familiarity with inventory management tools or ERPs (like Unicommerce, Increff, Zoho) is a plus.
• A calm, solutions-oriented problem-solver who thrives in a fast-moving, early-stage brand environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience at an early-stage D2C brand.
• Familiarity with cosmetics compliance and batch documentation.
• Exposure to quick commerce (e.g., Blinkit, Zepto) or specialty retail operations.
• Experience coordinating PR mailers, gifting, and influencer seeding logistics.

Experience

2–4 years of relevant operations and supply chain experience, preferably in beauty or FMCG sectors.

This position is fully in-person, located in Lower Parel, Mumbai, requiring engagement with multiple stakeholders within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
