Supply Planner

Job Summary

The Supply Planner is responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain planning process to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. This role involves coordinating with various departments to balance supply and demand, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting overall business objectives through effective supply planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans to meet customer demand and business goals.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate demand forecasts into supply plans.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply planning process.

• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in supply planning software and tools.

• Educational background in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Relevant experience in supply chain planning or related roles preferred.
• Experience working in manufacturing, retail, or distribution environments is advantageous.
