Marketing- Offline Activation

Job Summary
The Offline Activation / Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning and executing high-impact offline marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and store footfall across Mumbai. This field-intensive role requires a proactive and hands-on professional who can conceptualize innovative activation ideas, manage on-ground campaigns, coordinate with vendors and agencies, and ensure seamless execution.
Responsibilities

Offline Brand Activation Strategy
- Develop and implement offline marketing strategies to strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Identify high-footfall locations such as malls, corporate parks, colleges, and residential communities for brand activations.
- Conceptualize creative campaigns to increase brand recall and customer interaction.

On-Ground Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute flyer distribution campaigns, promotional drives, and local marketing initiatives.
- Manage product sampling and promotional activities to introduce customers to Theobroma’s offerings.
- Ensure effective brand visibility through creative display setups and promotional branding.

Pop-ups & Experiential Marketing
- Organize and execute pop-up stalls, promotional kiosks, and experiential marketing activities across key locations.
- Collaborate with malls, corporate offices, and event organizers to secure activation opportunities.
- Oversee customer engagement activities during promotions and sampling events.

Vendor & Agency Management
- Coordinate with activation vendors, event agencies, and suppliers for campaign setups and promotional materials.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective execution of campaigns.
- Ensure timely delivery and high-quality execution of all activation initiatives.

Local Partnerships & Collaborations
- Build partnerships with corporate offices, residential societies, gyms, schools, and local events for brand promotions.
- Explore collaboration opportunities with exhibitions, festivals, and community events to enhance brand visibility.

Field Supervision & Execution
- Travel across Mumbai to monitor and supervise activation campaigns on the ground.
- Ensure activations align with brand guidelines and deliver strong customer experiences.
- Address operational challenges and ensure smooth campaign execution.

Campaign Performance & Insights
- Track key performance metrics such as customer engagement, footfall generation, and campaign reach.
- Analyze campaign effectiveness and provide insights to improve future marketing initiatives.
- Prepare activation reports and share insights with the marketing leadership team.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in offline marketing, brand activations, or experiential marketing.
- Proven experience in executing large-scale on-ground marketing campaigns.
- Strong vendor management and agency coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Mumbai.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), retail, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or consumer-facing brands, particularly in handling large-scale brand activations and local marketing initiatives.
Experience
- 6-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
Environment
