Role: Marketing Lead
Location: Bangalore, in office (6 days a week)
Reporting to: Managing Director

About the Role

The Marketing Lead will drive Anand Sweets’ overall brand strategy - overseeing digital, creative, and campaign functions while ensuring a consistent, premium brand presence across all communication channels. This role works closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality, insight-driven marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy – With Agency

  • Lead the overall social media strategy in partnership with the social media agency.
  • Work with the agency on monthly content calendars, brand storytelling, and platform-specific strategies.
  • Oversee quality of content -copy, design, reels, videos ensuring they match brand tone and visual standards.
  • Track metrics, share insights with the agency, and guide optimisation.

2. Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan and execute brand campaigns (festive, seasonal, product, digital, in-store).
  • Create campaign briefs, messaging, and rollout plans across digital and offline channels.
  • Ensure campaigns reflect the brand’s premium positioning and heritage.

3. Creative & Design Team Oversight

  • Manage the in-house design team for all assets across digital, print, packaging, and retail branding.
  • Ensure visual consistency, quality control, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Approve all creative outputs before release.

4. Photoshoots & Video Production

  • Conceptualise and manage product, lifestyle, and brand shoots.
  • Work with external photographers, videographers, stylists, and production teams.
  • Ensure shoot outputs are high-quality, brand-aligned, and delivered on schedule.

5. Performance Marketing Supervision

  • Work with the performance marketing agency to define targets and optimise campaigns.
  • Review media plans, ad creatives, landing pages, and performance dashboards.
  • Monitor weekly performance and guide improvements.

6. Website & E-commerce Experience

  • Oversee website content updates, UX enhancements, homepage banners, and product uploads.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams and agencies to maintain a smooth browsing and checkout experience.
  • Ensure digital assets are refreshed for festivals, campaigns, and product launches.

7. Communication & Brand Language

  • Maintain consistent brand tone and messaging across all communication channels - digital, packaging, retail, corporate decks, internal communication, emailers, and customer-facing content.
  • Review and approve key brand copy and campaign lines.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Design, Retail, E-commerce, Corporate Sales, Customer Experience, and Product teams.
  • Support new product launches, in-store branding, gifting initiatives, and store openings.

9. Reporting & Insights

  • Track performance across social, website, marketing campaigns, and offline activities.
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports with insights and next steps.
  • Use consumer, category, and competitor insights to shape marketing strategy.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5–8+ years’ experience in brand or digital marketing, ideally within FMCG, F&B, or premium consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of social media, digital marketing, and consumer behaviour.
  • Ability to manage internal creative teams and multiple agencies.
  • Strong visual sensibility, communication skills, and project management.
  • Analytical mindset with familiarity in digital and marketing analytics tools.
