Job Summary

The Backend Python Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in Python programming and effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend components with Python to support frontend functionality.
• Conduct verbal technical interviews and live coding assessments to evaluate candidates for development roles.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications as necessary.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in backend development, specifically using Python.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Python and frameworks like Django or Flask.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services development.
  • Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a minimum rating of 3.5/5.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience in agile methodologies.

Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in backend development.

Environment

This position is hybrid, with opportunities to work in Gurgaon, Coimbatore, or Hyderabad. The role may involve both remote and in-office work settings.

Salary

• Rate: 9 USD per hour.
