Performance Quality Assurance Tester

Job Summary

The Performance Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for ensuring the performance and efficiency of applications through rigorous testing and analysis. This role contributes to delivering high-quality software by identifying performance bottlenecks and ensuring that applications perform optimally under various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter and Blazemeter to evaluate application responsiveness and stability.
• Analyze performance data and provide insights to improve application performance and user experience.
• Collaborate within an Agile development team to integrate testing processes into sprints.
• Utilize monitoring tools like Dynatrace to track application performance metrics.
• Maintain detailed documentation of testing methodologies and results using Wiki, Jira, and Confluence.
• Support the continuous integration process with experience using Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in JMeter and Blazemeter.
  • Experience with Dynatrace for performance monitoring.
  • Understanding of cloud technology.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and experience working as a performance tester in sprints.
  • Knowledge of documentation tools such as Wiki, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with development teams and stakeholders.

• Educational Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or WebDriver IO is a plus.
• Prior experience in automation testing to complement performance testing skills.

Experience

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a performance tester is required.
