My Time Equity is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm based in Plano, Texas. We specialize in actively managed portfolio strategies that combine asset diversification, time diversification, and risk- managed models. Our mission is to help clients navigate market cycles with data-driven, emotion-free investment approaches. About the Role:
The Operation Manager will oversee the firm’s operational infrastructure to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable support of our investment advisory, client service, and financial planning functions. This is a mission-critical leadership role focused on enhancing operational efficiency, managing vendor and custodial relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance (SEC, FINRA), and optimizing the client experience across all operational touchpoints. Key Responsibilities:
1. Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting
•
Manage end-to-end fund accounting for hybrid private equity structures, including master-feeder and blocker entities.
•
Lead fund setup in Investran Live, covering legal entity creation, investor static data, and allocation rules.
•
Prepare and review NAV reports, including management fees (GPPS), carried interest, preferred returns, and investment portfolios.
•
Process capital activities such as capital calls, distributions, and partner transfers, along with investor notices and reconciliations.
•
Post journal entries for valuations, accruals, and fund expenses; ensure accurate financial reporting.
2. Compliance s Fund Oversight
•
Monitor investment compliance policies, reporting standards, and disclosure requirements in line with U.S. federal and state laws.
•
Collaborate with internal legal and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness and ensure adherence to all regulatory obligations.
•
Investor Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for all investor communications and reporting.
•
Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, ensuring transparency in fund performance and financial updates.
•
Oversee the dissemination of investor reports, performance summaries, and capital account statements.
3. Investment Monitoring s Analysis
•
Oversee monitoring of group investments, including asset allocation, portfolio diversification, and performance tracking.
•
Conduct detailed financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions and group strategy.
•
Generate insights and reports for management and stakeholders to guide capital allocation and risk management.
4. Team Development s Cross-Functional Collaboration
•
Mentor and guide operational and finance teams involved in fund management.
•
Coordinate with leadership across advisory, compliance, and finance to align investment strategies with business objectives.
•
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence in investor relations.
Qualifications and Skills
●
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree/MBA is strongly preferred.
●
Experience: 3 – 10 years of progressive experience in financial services operations, ideally within wealth management, investment advisory, or RIA firms.
