Job Summary
As a Content Intern, you will take ownership of creating, editing, and publishing video content that communicates Sidecar's story across various platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition from an internship to a full-time position, enabling you to showcase your creativity and make a significant impact on the company's content strategy.
Responsibilities
- Shoot Video Content: Regularly film founder interviews, product demos, customer stories, and behind-the-scenes clips using various techniques and tools to capture engaging footage.
- Edit and Publish: Utilize editing software to quickly transform raw footage into polished, audience-grabbing videos, ensuring high-quality production elements such as color grading, sound design, and pacing.
- Independently Ideate Video Concepts: Stay informed about trends in AI, logistics, and the startup landscape to propose compelling content ideas without awaiting direction.
- Construct a Production Pipeline: Develop an efficient workflow from concept through analytics to streamline the video production process, making it systematic rather than ad-hoc.
- Write Supporting Content: Create scripts, captions, and posts to accompany video content that resonates with the audience, maintaining a human voice.
- Develop Marketing Plans: Collaborate in brainstorming and executing distribution strategies, audience engagement tactics, and partnership opportunities beyond just content creation.
- Analyze Performance: Track viewership metrics, engagement rates, and the success of content initiatives to refine strategies and focus on effective formats.
Qualifications
- Video Portfolio: Demonstrate experience with a portfolio showcasing individual video projects on platforms like YouTube, Instagram Reels, or Shorts.
- End-to-End Production Skills: Ability to independently handle all aspects of video production, including conceptualization, shooting, editing, and publishing.
- Proficiency in Editing Software: Experience with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut, with the ability to work efficiently within at least one of these platforms.
- AI-Driven Tools: Familiarity with AI applications like ChatGPT, Runway, or Descript that enhance production efficiency.
- Strong English Skills: Excellent writing ability for scripts and captions, creating relatable and engaging content.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive in identifying filming opportunities and proposing content ideas without waiting for direction.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with motion graphics or animation software (e.g., After Effects).
- Familiarity with B2B or Software as a Service (SaaS) video content.
- Interest in logistics, supply chain, or AI technologies.
Experience
- This position is ideal for candidates looking to develop their video production skills in a fast-paced startup environment but does not have a strict prior experience requirement.
Environment
- Work is conducted in-office in Bengaluru, with an expectation of being present 6 days a week.
Salary
- Competitive internship stipend in the range of 30,000 - 40,000 INR per month, with a clear transition path to full-time employment.
