Job Summary

The ServiceNow Developer/Administrator will play a crucial role in enhancing, configuring, and deploying the ServiceNow platform to support various IT service management functions. This position requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow and its components in conjunction with industry best practices to ensure optimal service delivery and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy technical ServiceNow components including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, actions, UI pages, macros, script includes, catalog items, and workflows.
  • Implement Change, Incident, Problem Management, and Asset Management modules to streamline IT operations.
  • Utilize ServiceNow ITIL framework in managing IT services effectively.
  • Conduct integration with third-party tools using REST API and out-of-the-box (OOB) ServiceNow connectors.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams for project and program management related to ServiceNow initiatives.
  • Provide production support and quality assurance for ServiceNow applications to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years of broad Information Technology experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Project and Program Management, Systems Design, and Delivery.
  • Certified in ServiceNow CIS IT Service Management and ServiceNow Administration.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, PPM, Discovery, Knowledge, and CMDB.
  • Experience in cloud environments including AWS and Azure; certification in those platforms is preferred.
  • Solid experience in integration processes with third-party tools via REST API.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations and custom application development.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
  • Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, with specific focus on ServiceNow platform development and administration.
