About the Role
SST is leading a once-in-a-generation shift in how India nurtures its next wave of engineers - and this role puts you in the driver’s seat of that transformation.
As a Manager: Growth Strategy, you will lead a high-calibre team that works directly with top-performing students and families evaluating the country’s most prestigious engineering pathways - IITs, BITS, NITs, and leading private universities.
Your role goes beyond leadership - you will shape SST’s parent-facing strategy by transforming frontline insights into GTM intelligence, refining decision-support narratives, and orchestrating org-wide improvements across communication, touchpoints, and parent experience.
This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving unstructured GTM problems, and wants to build institution-defining systems that influence how India’s strongest students choose their academic future. You will serve as a coach, strategist, problem-solver, and thought partner to both your team and SST’s leadership.
What you will do/Responsibilities
January to August: GTM & Strategy Activation
During this phase, you will:
Lead and coach a pod of Growth Strategy Associates to run mature, structured, high-stakes advisory conversations.
Handle complex cases with top-tier families, modelling calmness, clarity, and structured reasoning.
Translate patterns from frontline conversations into sharp GTM insights for leadership, marketing, academics, and campus teams.
Oversee quick, insight-led GTM experiments around parent narratives, sequencing, and experience improvements.
Ensure advisory consistency and quality, through regular coaching sessions, and frameworks for decision-support.
September to December: GTM & Strategic Development
During this phase, you will work on strategic, insight-led initiatives that strengthen SST’s approach to engaging high-calibre families - including but not limited to:
Synthesising learnings from the entire year into clear, high-quality recommendations that shape next year’s GTM strategy.
Leading multiple GTM experiments that test new approaches across formats and touchpoints.
Partnering with GTM, marketing, content, product, and leadership teams to refine processes
Identifying structural friction points in the overall experience and driving improvements across workflows and stakeholder interactions.
