Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with over 10 years of expertise in managing and optimizing SQL and NoSQL database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database solutions, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and seamless integration with cloud services. This role plays a critical part in supporting the organization’s data infrastructure and collaborating with development and IT teams to enhance database efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Perform regular backups and manage data recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor and optimize database performance for high availability and efficiency.
• Provide support and resolve database-related queries and issues.
• Collaborate with developers to design efficient queries and stored procedures.
• Coordinate with system administrators to integrate databases with other IT infrastructure components.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Expertise in SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with cloud database services including AWS RDS and Azure SQL Database.
• Strong skills in database performance tuning and high availability (HA) concepts.
• Proficient in database migration from on-premises to cloud services.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Educational qualification: Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Intermediate knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Intermediate knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Experience with database migration strategies and tools.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator.
• Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience working in cloud environments and managing cloud-based databases.

Environment

• Full-time position.
• Work mode: In-office.
• Job locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai.

Salary

• Salary: ₹36,00,000 INR per annum.
