Cluster Trainer – Learning & Development (Assistant Manager)

Job Summary
The Cluster Trainer will play a pivotal role in driving learning initiatives across retail stores within the Pune and Nashik cluster. This is a field-based position responsible for delivering impactful training programs, ensuring operational excellence, and enhancing team capability while maintaining Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver onboarding and induction training for new team members across assigned stores.
- Conduct regular operational and behavioral training programs to enhance employee performance and improve customer experience.
- Visit assigned stores daily to assess training needs, coach frontline teams, and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Drive compliance with QHSE standards, food safety, hygiene, and operational best practices.
- Conduct training audits, skill assessments, and refresher sessions to improve store performance.
- Partner with Store Managers and Operations teams to identify capability gaps and implement development plans.
- Track training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and performance metrics.
- Maintain training records, attendance, certifications, and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Support the rollout of new products, processes, and learning initiatives across the cluster.
- Travel to Nashik once a month to conduct training and audits across assigned stores.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; certifications in Training, Hospitality, or Food Safety are an added advantage.
- 3–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Operations within the QSR, Food Retail, or Hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of QHSE, food safety, hygiene, and retail operations.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
- Comfortable with extensive field travel and managing multiple store locations.
- Ability to build strong relationships with store teams and operations stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with leading QSR or food retail brands.
- Background in training frontline retail or restaurant teams across multiple locations.
- Exposure to operational audits and compliance management.
Experience
3–6 years in Learning & Development, Training, or Operations, preferably in the QSR, Food Retail, or Hospitality industry.
Environment
Base Location: Pune, covering approximately 30–35 stores in Pune and requiring monthly travel to Nashik for training and audits.
Salary
CTC: ₹6–8 LPA (based on experience and fit).
