About the Role

Position: Chief Executive Officer

Location: Gurugram

Reporting to: Founder and work alongside the Sauce VC Board Members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post detailed orientation with the founder & Sauce VC Team, be responsible for the end-to-end of day-to-day operations Pan-India while setting the best standards for business excellence.
  • Development and implementation of a strategic plan to advance the company's vision, mission, strategies and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization.
  • Ensure revenue growth is achieved in a responsible and profitable manner.
  • Set comprehensive goals for every department performance and their growth matrix.
  • Work closely with the Founder & Investors to prepare annual budgets and monthly reviews
  • Represent the company at important functions, industry events
  • Promote company culture and vision.
  • Be the primary spokesperson for the Company in all interactions with the press, the financial community and the public markets.
  • Motivate a high performance, innovative and results-driven organization.

Requirements / Preferences:

  • MBA from leading institute
  • Minimum 12-15 years professional experience in a commercial, Sales and Distribution & Marketing role along with Strategy & P&L ownership for the brand/market.
  • Experience leading market expansion and revenue growth in a mass market FMCG (preferably beverage) brand.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Well versed with financial statements and budgeting
  • Track record of building consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions. Strong on ethics, compliance, governance
