Manager Development

Job Summary

The Manager Development will lead a medium-sized team in delivering robust web-based applications using the Microsoft technology stack. This role is crucial for driving cloud migration initiatives and ensuring the performance and results of the team align with the organization's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the budget, performance, and results of a medium-sized team or multiple teams.
  • Define and share the technical and functional team roadmap in alignment with departmental and company objectives.
  • Manage the investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure software systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance.
  • Develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges while suggesting improvements in processes and operational models.
  • Report on team activities and be accountable for the performance and results of the unit within the discipline.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • 10+ years of experience in delivering web-based applications using Microsoft tech stack (C#, .NET MVC, WEB API, .NET CORE, SQL SERVER, Angular).
    • Expertise in Azure or any cloud platform for facilitating cloud migration and post-optimization.
    • Strong understanding of distributed systems, decoupled applications, and scalable networks.
    • Proficient in deployment, monitoring, and logging best practices using tools like SPLUNK, Kibana, Jenkins, and Airflow.
    • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker & Kubernetes) and services like AKS (Azure) or EKS (AWS).
    • Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture and API protocols (REST, Open API).
    • Experience with databases, including embedded (e.g., SQLite), client-server (e.g., Oracle), and NoSQL distributed (e.g., MongoDB, CouchDB).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in software design patterns.
    • Excellent mentorship and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Ability to self-manage complex modules and handle complex use-cases and dependencies.

Preferred Skills

  • Awareness of static analysis tools and improving software quality.
  • Understanding of non-functional requirements (NFR) and their impact on final solutions.
  • Experience in decoupling monoliths to micro-service architecture.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in software development and team management.

  • Estimated salary range: ₹6,000,000
