Oracle Fusion Functional - Project Accounting(PA)
Job Summary
The Oracle Fusion Functional - Project Accounting (PA) role is a senior technical and functional position with a focus on maintaining Finance Applications solutions in line with the Global Template approach while accommodating country-specific requirements. The candidate will be responsible for developing, documenting, testing, and implementing solutions with a strong emphasis on quality and best practices. Additionally, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently while ensuring high-level stakeholder engagement and clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that Finance Applications solutions are maintained according to the Global Template approach, including the support of country-specific requirements where needed.
- Proactively collaborate with team members and FA teams to quickly and effectively resolve customer issues with a high level of quality.
- Engage with Solution Architects and Global Process Owners to discuss, align, and agree upon solutions before development begins.
- Interact with key stakeholders to provide an overview and discussion of the current solutions supported by the team.
- Deliver requirements that are thoroughly developed, documented, tested, and implemented in accordance with agreed standards and best practices.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to best practice approaches throughout development and ensure all documentation is high quality and up-to-date.
- Engage effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
- Employ a root cause resolution approach to issues and drive strong, proactive customer communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion, with a specialization in Project Accounting (PA).
- Strong understanding of Finance Applications solutions and the Global Template approach.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with FA teams, Solution Architects, and Global Process Owners.
- Excellent documentation skills, ensuring that all processes and solutions are well-documented and maintained.
- Demonstrated capability in analyzing requirements and delivering tested, reliable solutions.
- Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in identifying root causes of issues and implementing effective resolutions.
- Educational background in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in troubleshooting functional issues within Oracle Fusion environments.
- Familiarity with country-specific finance regulations and their implications on financial systems.
- Experience with system integration and working within complex financial environments.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies or project management frameworks is advantageous.
Experience
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in Oracle Fusion Functional roles, with a focus on Project Accounting in finance applications.
