D365 F&O Technical Consultant

Job Summary

The D365 F&O Technical Consultant will lead the technical design and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) modules. This role focuses on integrating data entities, developing secure data exchanges, and managing release processes, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and functional consultants to deliver robust technical solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and implementation for D365 F&O modules, ensuring scalable and secure architecture.
• Develop and customize data entities, including entity methods such as initValue, validateField, and postLoad.
• Design and manage integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and other Power Platform tools.
• Develop and maintain secure data exchanges utilizing Azure Blob Storage and SFTP connections.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Establish and oversee Release Management processes for D365 environments, including build automation, code deployment, and version control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across D365 modules and integrations.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O technical development.
• Expertise in data entity methods execution and customization.
• Strong understanding of Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, and custom connectors.
• Experience with Azure Blob Storage integration and SFTP-based file transfers.
• Proven experience in Release Management and DevOps practices within D365 environments.
• Solid proficiency in X++, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and Visual Studio for D365 development.
• Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power Apps and broader Power Platform capabilities.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (Technical track).
• Exposure to enterprise-scale D365 F&O implementations.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven teams.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Dynamics 365 F&O technical development, integrations, and release management.
• Prior experience with Power Platform, Azure integrations, and managing enterprise-scale deployments is highly desirable.

Environment

• Location: Mumbai (on-site or hybrid, as per company policy).
• Full-time position with immediate start.
• Collaborative work environment involving cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• May require occasional extended hours during critical deployments or releases.
